It’s back!! So popular a few years ago, we filled 3 busses! All aboard for this fun filled tour of railroads and cruises in charming New England! The trip includes a ride on the Essex Steam Train along the Connecticut River Valley, a city tour of Boston, Boston Harbor Cruise, the Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad with gorgeous lake views, a wonderful cruise on the expansive Lake Winnipesaukee, a Lighthouse Lover’s Cruise along Maine’s rugged, rocky coast, time in Portland, and, of course, no trip to New England is complete without a Maine Lobster bake dinner! All this..and more!

Day 1, Sunday

Travel by motorcoach to Connecticut where you'll board the Essex Steam Train.
Ride the rails aboard a true Steam train with vintage rail cars. Depart from the historic Essex Station and travel through the beautiful countryside to the riverside along the Connecticut River Valley.

Day #3 - Expanded Continental Breakfast - With hot choices.
Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad - Discover New Hampshire's largest lake by rail! Enjoy your scenic excursion hugging the picturesque shoreline, surrounded by mountain outcrops, with views of "Grand Style Resorts", pristine woodlands, lake wild life and more. You will ride the rails right to your cruise on the historic tracks of the Boston and Maine Railroad.
M/S Mount Washington Cruise and Lunch - A wonderful cruise on Lake Winnipesaukee, an Indian term meaning Beautiful Water in a High Place. Relax and enjoy this 72 square mile lake, the largest in New Hampshire. Fabulous with three mountain ranges surrounding the lake and 365 islands. Delicious hot and cold lunch buffet as you cruise.
Wolfeboro, NH - Spend time on your own in this charming, lakeside, New Hampshire village filled with shops, eateries, attractions and views.

Day 4, Wednesday

Expanded Continental Breakfast - With hot choices.
Lighthouse Lover's Cruise - Maine's rugged, rocky coast and picturesque lighthouses - what a combo! The scene unfolds as you cruise from Portland's scenic harbor seeing the Calendar Islands, coastal forts, Maine lobster boats, playful seals and an array of seabirds. View as many as seven lighthouses including an up-close experience at Maine's oldest and historic lighthouse, Portland Headlight, proudly perched on one of Maine's famous rocky outcrops overlooking this beautiful harbor.
Old Port, Portland - Time for lunch on own and shopping in this city's historic, waterfront district.
Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad and Museum - Take a trip back in time as you enjoy magnificent views of Portland's waterfront aboard antique rail cars pulled by hard-working steam and diesel locomotives. Discover the unique two-foot gauge trains that linked rural Maine to the rest of the world.
Maine Lobster bake Dinner with Entertainment - Enjoy the freshest of New England seafood with a traditional lobster bake coupled with a dose of down east entertainment.

The Downeaster - Ride Amtrak's coastal train south from New Hampshire to Massachusetts. Great views. Sit back and enjoy as you take in the beauty of coastal New England in comfort.
