Day 1

Fly to Vancouver: Arrive at the Vancouver International Airport and transfer by private motorcoach to your hotel. Free admission to the Vancouver Lookout is included in your package and can be taken at your leisure for a 360 degree view of one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Private airport transfer included.

Day 2

Enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Vancouver's spectacular North Shore and Downtown with breathtaking views of the city, ocean and surrounding mountains. Then travel to the Capilano Suspension Bridge taking a walk across the 450 feet long and 230 feet high bridge perched above the Capilano Canyon and stroll along Treetops Adventure. Finish your day relaxing riding the famous Grouse Mountain Skyride. Breakfast included.


Day 3

This morning, you will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to Rocky Mountaineer’s private train station. Board your Silverleaf car and travel from the coastal city of Vancouver to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia’s interior. Your day concludes as the Rocky Mountaineer travels along the shores of Kamloops Lake into Kamloops. Upon arrival at the Station, you will be transferred by motorcoach to your overnight accommodation. Spend the evening exploring the city of Kamloops or relaxing in your hotel room. Breakfast, lunch and gourmet snacks along with alcoholic & non alcoholic beverages will be served onboard.


Day 4

Early this morning, you will be transferred by motorcoach to the Kamloops station from your hotel. Board your Silverleaf car to continue your journey east to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of
Alberta. Travel across ranchlands, along rocky lakeshores, over high mountain passes and through the remarkable tunnels that form part of the rich rail history of the Canadian Rockies. Arrive in Banff and be
transferred to your hotel. Breakfast, lunch and gourmet snacks along with alcoholic & non alcoholic beverages will be served onboard.


Day 5

Depart by private motorcoach for your full-day tour of Banff & Yoho National Parks. The Parks offer magnificent natural wonders like the Spiral Tunnels, a Rock Bridge spanning the Kicking Horse River &
Emerald Lake. A stop for free time will be made at The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise for you to revel in the breathtaking surroundings of Lake Louise. Breakfast included.

Day 6

Board your private motorcoach to enjoy a full day sightseeing tour along the magnificent Icefields Parkway. Among the highlights are Bow Lake and Athabasca Falls. At the Columbia Icefields, ride a unique Ice Explorer onto the Athabasca Glacier and learn more about its geological features. Then enjoy the stunning views from the Glaicer Skywalk. You will be transferred back to your hotel late afternoon. Breakfast included.


Day 7

Board your private motorcoach to enjoy a day sightseeing of Banff before making your way to Calgary. In Banff, you will enjoy the famous Banff Gondola which is a spectacular eight-minute gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain for 360-degree views of the Banff townsite and its surrounding mountains. Before arriving Calgary, you will stop at Heritage Park Historical Village, one of Canada's largest living history museum with over 100 exhibits, including a steam locomotive that will take you around the park, a
re-creation of a paddle steamer and a working smithy, several shops & restaurants. You will be transferred to your hotel in Calgary to enjoy the evening at leisure. Walk over to the Calgary Tower (included) providing stellar views from 525 feet above the city. Breakfast included.


Day 8

Check out today and be transfered to the Calgary International Airport in time for your flight home. Breakfast & private airport transfer included.

  • The train travels 50 km/hr (30 mph) on average.

  • Rocky Mountaineer fleet includes:  – 26 GoldLeaf Service coaches – 18 SilverLeaf Service coaches – 12 crew cars – Eight generator cars – Nine locomotives – Two lounge cars

  • Rocky Mountaineer is an all-dome fleet, featuring two levels of service: GoldLeaf Service and SilverLeaf Service. 

  • Rocky Mountaineer travels only during the day and features oversized windows, so guests don’t miss a moment of the everchanging landscapes.

  • The meals are prepared using locally-sourced products inspired by the regions of Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest. Meals are served in the lower level dining room in GoldLeaf Service, and are served at the seat in SilverLeaf Service. 

  • The all-dome fleet offers views from nearly every angle and each coach has an outdoor viewing area. 

  • The length of the train varies with each departure, depending on guest count. The longest train was 41 cars, excluding the locomotives.
